Customer Success

Customer Solutions Consultant

At so many companies, processes and apps and teams are disconnected and siloed. That’s why we’re building a solution to the universal challenges of unifying teams and systems to deliver a world-class customer experience. We’re a startup with big, daring goals, so outrageous technical chops and an unwavering obsession for customers are necessary. A love for dogs, pizza, and/or board games helps, too. You should also love partnering with engineering, product, and marketing teams to help craft flawless customer onboarding and solution implementations.

Here at Usermind, we’re makers and doers. With a small, yet focused team, it’s time to grow so that we can launch our service globally. We’re looking for engaging team members who will make an impact and evolve with the company.

What you’ll do:

In order to provide a world-class experience to our ever-growing list of customers as they onboard to the Usermind Platform, you will partner closely with product management and engineering on requirements and escalations. You will help your team and the business understand project statuses, risk and performance, and customer satisfaction metrics through reporting and cross-collaborative communication. On the technical front, you will define and create Usermind Journeys in accordance with your customer’s requirements in both the Usermind rules language and Python, and you will configure third-party software integrations. You will become a trusted advisor to your customers, working as their internal advocate and escalation point to ensure all potential issues are addressed in a way that satisfies the customer and encourages them to be references for Usermind.

Every team member makes a huge impact daily, and the time to join Usermind is now.

Send us your resume if:

  • You are a master at data mapping, understand how to tell stories with data, and can recognize when results are not returning as expected
  • You are obsessed with your customers, and are engaged with them to help them translate their goals into well-defined customer journeys that accelerate their business
  • You can build, deploy, and manage ETL pipelines
  • You know your way around SQL and/or Python; can produce basic, functional Linux scripts; and are familiar with REST APIs
  • You have user or admin experience with SaaS products such as Tableau, Salesforce, Microsoft Dynamics, Marketo, Eloqua, Zuora, MailChimp, Mixpanel, Google Analytics, Looker, etc.
  • You have familiarity with highly scalable, highly available distributed systems, running on high-performance cloud and web infrastructures
  • You can tell us about some gnarly customer and/or business problems that you’ve troubleshot and successfully solved
  • You are a strong listener, and manage customer expectations through skilled coaching and communication
  • You have worked with sales teams to scope, develop, and deliver reliable statements of work (SOWs)
  • You have the knack for helping non-technical audiences understand technical and business concepts, from the basic to the complex
  • You have exceptional time management and prioritization skills, allowing you to multitask on various projects and consistently meet deliverables
  • You enjoy working cross-functionally, including with sales, engineering, marketing, and product teams
  • Details matter to you — a lot
  • You have thrived in a rapidly-changing environment while maintaining high-quality output
  • You’ve successfully worked, for at least 5 years, in a client-facing professional services or consulting role (like a Technical Analyst, Solutions Consultant, Solutions Architect, etc.) for a SaaS software implementation project or company
  • You can work primarily out of Seattle HQ, but can travel up to 25% of the time
  • You’ve got a degree in engineering, computer science, MIS, or similar; equivalent work experience will be considered

Usermind is a 2016 Washington’s Best Place to Work, and every team member makes a huge impact daily. Usermind is an equal opportunity employer, and we celebrate our diverse, creative, collaborative team.
